Family Snow Day | {Nashville Hendersonville Family Photographer}

This amazing session is the result of a quick Facebook post about snow sessions in my backyard.  Amy sent me a text asking if I was serious, and I wanted to shout back “OF COURSE!!!”  She pulled together outfits for 5, layered up 3 kiddos, and headed over to my house, for what I think is a pretty awesome little session.  We were outside for less than 10 minutes and got a full session’s worth of pictures.  This two boys were SO cooperative, and they are such a sweet, beautiful, and photogenic little family.  I absolutely love each and every one of these.Shannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Child PhotographerGallatin Middle TN Family Photographer

Wacker Family | {Nashville Hendersonville Family Photographer}

As I’m stuck at home due to icy roads and a temperature close to zero, I’m dreaming of warmer days.  Last fall I photographed this awesome family, and I got behind on the blog and didn’t get to post some of my favorites.  So I thought this would be a good time to share.  They drove close to 3 hours to get to me and made it just in time for some gorgeous light.  They were full of smiles and laughs and made my job so much fun.  I love how every single one of these smiles came from me saying a potty word. I’m so glad their mom shared that little secret with me 😉Shannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerI love that we got to steal mom and dad away from the kids for some couple pictures.  These were some of my favorites.Shannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerThanks for an awesome session!  It was so much fun working with the 6 of you!Shannon Payne Photography | Nashville TN Family PhotographerBrentwood Franklin Family Photographer

Andrew and Anna | {Gallatin Hendersonville Child Photographer}

I have been lucky enough to watch Andrew and Anna grow since they were teeny tiny premies in the NICU.  They came to the studio for the newborn session as soon as they were released from the hospital, and I’ve been able to photograph their one and now two year old sessions.  I love watching their little personalities develop.  It’s so funny to watch because they have some of the same traits now that I remember from their newborn session.  This was our first time to go outside for a session, and we lucked out with a somewhat warm December day.  They are little explorers now, and they absolutely love each other.  Our session was full of lots of hugs and kisses.  It is fun watching their little relationship develop.  Thanks S family for sharing your little duo with me!Nashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerNashville TN Child PhotographerHendersonville Nashville Twin Child Photographer

Drew Francis | {Hendersonville Nashville Newborn Photographer}

I have been so excited for this baby girl’s arrival.  Well, I wasn’t sure she was a he or she until her birth day, because her family waited until then to find out her gender.  I don’t know how anyone does that!  I’d be going crazy, but it sure does make that day even more exciting.  Luckily, I’m friends with these two awesome parents, so I was doing some Facebook stalking that day.  When I found out that baby Drew was a girl, I’m pretty sure I squealed with excitement.  I know mom would have been just as happy with a boy, but I’m pretty sure this baby girl is going to make their little family complete.  Her big brothers are already so wonderful with her.  It really is precious to watch.

The day that we had Drew’s session scheduled, she woke up with swollen, puffy eyes, and they weren’t getting any better.  So we decided to go ahead and reschedule.  I asked mom how she thought about going outside instead of using the studio, and she was game!  I had been watching a perfect spot for weeks and was so excited to put it to use.

How gorgeous are they?  I love every image from this session, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to be bringing more newborns outdoors next year:)

And these two!  They were such good boys for their pictures.  I love Q’s arm around his big brother and that little face staring at sister.  She is going to be one loved and protected little girl.Shannon Payne Photography | Nashville Newborn PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville Newborn PhotographerShannon Payne Photography | Nashville Newborn Photographer
