Megan | {Nashville Hendersonville Maternity Photographer}

I had so much fun with Megan and her precious daughter, soon to be Big Sister!  Big sister Shelby was so full of personality.  She was such a great sport for her pictures, and her mommy is gorgeous!  I absolutely love how great these colors looked with the fall foliage.  This beautiful little nook of leaves is located at my studio, and it was just perfect.  We also spent some time inside the studio, but I’m waiting to share those until baby sister arrives.  I can’t wait to meet her!  Thanks for a fun morning, Megan and Shelby.

Darci | {Hendersonville Middle TN Maternity Portrait Studio}

I have been photographing Darci’s family since their first girl was born.  Now they are expecting baby #2, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of her first year as well.  It couldn’t be a crazier time for this sweet family, from selling a house, to finding a new one, to moving several times, and adding in a few sicknesses around the house, oh and adding a new baby… I can imagine that they are a teeny bit stressed!  So it was nice to pamper this momma-to-be for an afternoon.  She came to the studio for hair and makeup, looked AMAZING for her portraits, and then left for a date night with her hubby!  I call that a great day!  Thanks for another great session, Darci.  I love working with your awesome family.

Amanda | {Nashville Brentwood Maternity Photographer}

When I checked the weather before Amanda’s maternity session, I was so worried about the temperature.  We planned a sunrise session months ago when it was still warm outside, and I didn’t even consider it being freezing (literally) for our session.  The low the night before was in the 20’s!  I don’t think that’s a typical October night in Tennessee.  But we stuck with it, and I’m sure glad we did.  The sunrise had such an amazing glow, there was a perfect touch of fog, and the field had a gorgeous layer of frost to it.  It made a perfect setting to capture these two parents to be.  I can’t wait to meet their new addition in a few weeks!

They say that all good things come to those who wait, and I can say it’s definitely true in this case.  We have had Julie’s maternity session scheduled since early last spring.  Outfits had been emailed, locations had been discussed, everything was ready to go – 2 weeks ago!  Our original day was gloomy and rainy.  Being a maternity session, I was hesitant on rescheduling, but we finally decided that it was just a bad day for pictures.  Our 2nd rescheduled day – rain.  So this was our 3rd try, and let me tell you…. it was perfect!  We had great temperatures and gorgeous light.  And did I mention a beautiful mommy and family?  Julie, it was so great finally getting to meet you.  You are absolutely stunning and as sweet as can be.  I loved watching your love for your daughter and family, and I can’t wait to meet your new addition.  Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time in your life!

Anticipation | {Nashville Middle TN Maternity Photographer}

Sarah and I have been planning her maternity session for weeks now, and I am so excited for her to see everything come together.  She had vision of what she wanted for her session, and I just love everything about it.  I normally have ideas of which images I’ll use in a sneak peek after a session, but I just couldn’t decide.  I had to share more than normal to help tell her story.  I can’t wait to meet this little bundle of love in a few weeks.
