Studio Newborn Photography Nashville

Studio Newborn Photography Nashville | James Henry was born July 4, and I finally had the honor of photographing his newborn session in September.  After 2 months in the NICU, his parents were wanting to get as close to a newborn session as possible.  Well, James Henry must have known how important this session was to them, because he was an absolute dream!  His mommy made my day when she sent me this sweet note about their experience.

“After waiting over two months for our precious boy to get dismissed from the NICU, we could not wait to get his newborn photographs made. I was a little nervous about James cooperating as a typical “newborn” for these photos since he was older than most, but Shannon assured us that she was happy to give it a go and create a custom package for us to meet our needs if necessary.

Lucky for us, Shannon (a.k.a The Baby Wizard) was so wonderful with baby James and his session completely exceeded any hopes we had. From the smallest details, such as a personalized sign welcoming us to the studio, to her consideration and patience while working with our son, was more than we could have ever asked for. My husband and I kept staring at each other while she worked wondering how she was able to get him to do what she did.

We are so grateful to have these stunning images of our special miracle, and even more grateful to have found such a kind and thoughtful photographer that will continue to photograph our son as he grows.”

Newborn Detail Portraits

One of his mommy’s requests was to get little detail images.  These have become one of my favorite parts of newborn sessions.  As you can tell, I was in love with his long eyelashes (as are his parents!)  I couldn’t resist photographing them in every angle.  I can’t wait to see how much he has grown when I see him for his 6/7 month session in January.
