I have been so excited to meet up with Miss Celia again. If you follow the blog, you may remember her 3 month session. I fell in love with those bright eyes, and that pink blanket was a big hit. This time I had the pleasure of photographing her big sister and mommy too. Oh my goodness, these girls are absolutely beautiful and just as sweet. I love all of the sweet moments that we caught.
We’ve been planning this session for months, and after several reschedules I finally got to meet these cuties. Oh my goodness! It was so worth the wait! Big brother was AMAZING with his sister, and baby sister was one of the happiest 3 month olds I’ve photographed. They were an absolute joy to photograph, and I am loving these sneaks.
I have been so excited to get started on Charlie’s newborn session. I love how we incorporated so much from her home, I love her pouty little lips and teeny fingers, and I really love how her mommy and daddy look at her. Congrats C Family on your beautiful baby girl. I can’t wait to watch her grow this year!
When it comes to 18 month sessions, you can’t do too much planning. I always come up with a game plan for my sessions, but I normally let my 18 month olds and 2 year olds run their session. Because honestly, if I didn’t, they’d end up running them anyway. So why not give them the control at the beginning??? Mr. E LOVED it! He was in heaven exploring and playing for our entire session, and I don’t think he had any idea that we were having a photo session. And that my friends, is the recipe for a successful session at this age. Make sure you look closely at his hands. He literally had a rock, leaf, clump of dirt, or all of the above in his hands at all times. He is all boy!
Oh those eyes…
This was such a bittersweet session. This was my last session with this precious family. C was one of my very first sessions when I started my business. Her family moved to Nashville months after me, and I’ve been photographing her brother since he was born. They are moving again, and this time it’s too far for me to follow them 🙁 I am so excited and happy for them, but I will definitely miss those adorable kiddos. Congrats, Jones family! Thank you for some of my very favorite photo sessions.
