This precious little girl arrived 4 weeks early. She was ready to come home right away, and I got to photograph her at 5 days old. Unfortunately it was right when my boys were going to be home 24/7 for 3 weeks until school starts. Soooooo, her gorgeous newborn pictures have been sitting on my computer begging to be edited. I’m just now getting to some sneaks, and I couldn’t resist sharing one. More from this sweetie coming soon…
When Owen’s mom suggested an industrial look for his 2 year session, I was all about finding a fun new spot. I found the perfect location at a local industrial area. Great walls, piles of wooden pallets, tractors, dump trucks, rocks, dirt, etc. It was boy heaven! Well, our first session got rained out, and our second session had sweltering sun, heat, and humidity. We ended up only using one spot because it had great shade and a nice breeze. I definitely loved that location, and I’m hoping to go back and try out a few more spots with a certain boy who just turned 6…
Back to Owen, his daddy created the most amazing little car for a boy. If I was excited about it, I can only imagine how Owen feels about it! This guy was all boy. He loved searching for rocks and checking out the trucks and tractors around us.
Whew! I’ve finally made it through my Memphis sneaks. The Haney family was the last family that I saw when I was in town for my July visit. I feel like this was a session in the planning for months. We got rained out way back in May, and finally got to meet up. We even had to reschedule to another day while I was in town because of rain. So I wasn’t quite sure this session would EVER happen. Well, I’m so glad it did, because this is one awesome family. They were so much fun to work with, so full of personality, and filled with lots of love.
We originally scheduled this session for Miss S’s birthday pictures, so I had to give her a little spotlight on the blog. Her mommy wanted the warm golden light of sunset for our session. It ended up being cloudy, but we were just glad it wasn’t raining for once. Just when it was time for Miss S to change, the sun popped out of the clouds and gave us that gorgeous glow that we were wanting! I LOVE this little outfit, and she sure did rock it!
These 2 make the most precious little girls, and in just a few weeks they’ll be adding another one! I couldn’t be happier for them. This was my 3rd time photographing their oldest, and I try to take her home with me each time. I can totally see her as the little momma hen at home. I bet she’d keep my 2 boys in line 🙂 And… the last time I met baby sister was when she was a teeny tiny little thing. She’s just as adorable as her big sister with a sweet little personality to match. I loved being able to help their little family remember this moment in time before their world changes again.
Oh, how I love a good belly laugh.
I love getting to photograph one of my dearest friends, Lesly, and her family. She is the sweetest, kindest person I know, and her family is absolutely beautiful. Her boys aren’t ever to excited about getting their pictures taken, so we had to throw in some fun this time with some singing, dancing, and jumping.
Break it down, A! (They were not planning on me taking a picture, we were just having fun. But this is one of my favorites from the session.)
Aren’t they adorable? I love the way he is looking at her.
