Baby Wyatt was my first newborn of 2015, and he sure brought in the year with a bang! His mommy wanted to incorporate his daddy’s love of hunting and fishing into his session, and I was pumped for setting up his all boy session. We used tons of blues and some greens and browns for a really rustic look, and I loved how everything turned out. Daddy brought his duck calls and decoys (which were HUGE compared to the little guy). I think it would be fun to do another set up like that at 6 months to see how much he has grown. I found an awesome fishing pole and hat. We weren’t quite sure about the hat until we put it on, and it was so stinking cute we couldn’t stop laughing 🙂 But beyond all of the work and thought that went behind this session, I wanted to keep the main focus on this perfect little guy. He slept like a champ, and even when he woke up, he was as calm and happy as could be. He opened those bright eyes for us a few times and snuck in a little grin as soon as mommy got to hold him.
