Oh, ya’ll… I can hardly believe that I have a 3 year old and a kindergartener this year. Well, hopefully, I’ll have a Kindergartener – that is if our school system can find a solution for the budget shortages, but that’s a whole other story! In the meantime, one of my babies is starting school, and he was oh so excited. Let me just tell you – this is my little separation anxiety guy, and he’s been quite attached to his mommy this summer. I was worried about the drop off, but I think our back to school plan worked! He went to Open House last week and met his teachers and saw his classroom (the toys). I took a picture of him with both of his teachers, and we looked at it and practiced their names all weekend. One even lives in our neighborhood, and he’s so excited about that. I don’t think the Spiderman lunch box hurt either. He was pretty excited about it! We snapped a few quick back to school shots before running out the door, and he was more than happy to smile for me. He charged into that room this morning like he owned it and didn’t give me a second glance. I was so proud of my littlest man. Next up will be 6 year old and Kindergarten pictures. It’s a big year around here!
