I met the Williams family on a warm summer day for their Nashville family and child photography session. The last time we met up was at their baby boy’s newborn session. It never stops amazing me how much they grow and change during that first year! As I look back at his newborn pictures, I can see so many of his little features. They are just bigger now!

With 3 kids, you never know what to expect. Well…. honestly you never know what to expect at any family session! Whether you have 1 kid or 8 kids! But my goal for every session is to take the pressure off the kids. I don’t like forced smiles or “cheese” faces. I feel like anyone can tell you to look at the camera and smile. So every single one of my sessions is full of playing, snuggling, and love. That’s what you want to remember when your kids grow, right???

One of the most difficult parts of planning your family session is choosing clothing. I always recommend coordinating outfits, not matching outfits. Picking an inspiration piece makes it all come together. So you can see that they chose baby brother’s shirt as the inspiration piece for their color palette. Those summery colors fit in perfectly with the warm summer glow. I just love the feel of pictures on a warm summer evening.
