When I was planning the 1 year old session with this family, they suggested a session in a creek somewhere. I’ve used a creek before, but the one I use has very little water in it. It worked for me because we didn’t have to worry about anyone getting wet or muddy. But this time I had someone willing to get wet, and I had to find the perfect spot! My littlest guy and I went location hunting, and we sure did find it. He had a blast playing in the creek while I explored. I remember when we first moved here from Nashville, I was in awe of all the gorgeous creeks with rippling water and stacked stones. We don’t have anything like this in Memphis, and I can’t believe I’m just now getting around to a real creek session. We’ve taken our own boys back several times to find crawfish. They are loving it.
