Nashville Fresh 48 Newborn Photography | I have two boys of my own, and those first days in the hospital will always be some of my most treasured memories. My oldest son is turning 10 in a few days, and I can hardly believe it. I love looking back at those hospital pictures and seeing our faces as we met our first baby. Fast forward a few years, and we had baby #2. I will always remember those first few pictures of our oldest son’s face when he met his baby brother. As the years go by, those first days in the hospital become a distant memory. Things I thought I’d never forget become cloudy. But I’ll always have those pictures to help me remember.
When Cassie asked me to come to the hospital to document baby #2, I had to say yes. I’ve photographed big brother for his 1 year and 2 year sessions, and I was so excited to see him meet his baby brother. Along with capturing those little details of the baby’s first few hours, we wanted to focus on big brother as he met the new baby. From opening his gift from the baby, to seeing baby’s hair for the first time, and snuggling with mommy after being away from her over night, I feel honored to help this family remember all of these moments.
