When Owen’s mommy told me she had a sock monkey theme for his birthday, I just knew we were going to have one cute cake smash. We had a handsome little boy with a cake he loved, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
We started his birthday session with an outfit that we thought would look good on the dark wood floors. This is the same spot where we photographed his newborn session. As a newborn photographer, I have tons of pee and poop stories, but Owen’s is by far my favorite. As soon as I bundled him up and laid him down with his daddy, a giant stream of pee shot daddy straight in the head. I was laughing so hard, I could barely help at first, and his daddy was such a good sport about it. So I figured it was only appropriate to finish his first year on those same floors!
Happy birthday sweet boy! It has been SO much fun watching you grow this year!
