After weeks and weeks of waiting, my newest niece Halle made her grand appearance. The boys and I headed to Memphis the day of her induction. I had a few sessions that night but made it to the hospital just in time to meet her for the first time and photograph the big event as well. Besides meeting my own babies, I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to meet someone. It’s pretty awesome becoming an aunt again! This baby girl had a room full of people who already love her. She is one lucky little lady!








The day that they were leaving the hospital was also the day that I had to head back to Nashville, so the big cousins and I went to the hospital for some “official” newborn pictures. We turned the hospital room into a make shift newborn studio and sent the boys off with their Mamaw. Oh my goodness! Halle was absolutely perfect for her first photo shoot. I’ve always said that they give babies some sort of drug in the hospital to make them sleepy and quiet. I never heard either of my boys cry until they came home. Well, it worked for Halle’s newborn session! She was a sleepy angel, and at only 2 days old, she was officially my youngest newborn to photograph. I love how she still has her hospital bracelets on. Congratulations, Heather and Johnny! I am so happy for you both, welcome to parenthood!
