The Day of Your Session
Planning Your Session
After your session, we’ll meet at my Hendersonville studio for your reveal. You’ll watch a slideshow of your images, then we’ll go through printed proofs together to choose your favorites and design the perfect mix of digitals and keepsakes. It’s part celebration, part “wow… we really did that,” and you’ll leave loving your photos!
This is the fun part! On session day, you can relax—because the planning is already done. We’ll follow a simple outfit + location game plan I’ve mapped out ahead of time, and all you have to do is show up with your outfits packed and ready. I’ll guide you through everything from start to finish with easy, fun direction (no awkward “what do I do with my hands?” moments), so you feel confident and look amazing. Most seniors tell me it feels more like hanging out than being photographed—and that’s exactly when your real personality shines through.
Your senior experience starts with a pre-session consultation where we talk through your ideas, interests, and the overall look you want—then we build the plan around the two things that shape your final gallery most: location + outfits. I’ll help you choose the perfect season for photos, locations, and outfits.

INVESTMENT
Senior sessions at Shannon Payne Photography are designed as a full-service experience — from the day we start planning until you receive your final artwork.
A $300 retainer is required at booking to reserve your session date and is applied toward your chosen Senior Experience. Retainers are non-refundable.
Senior Experiences begin at $800, with most families investing $1,200–$1,800 in their final images and keepsake products. Albums are a signature part of the senior experience and are included in select collections.

Summer and fall fill up quickly—most clients book 2–6 months in advance to get their ideal date. Our senior calendar opens in January of your JUNIOR year.
How far in advance should I book my senior photos in Nashville?
Your studio reveal is typically scheduled 2–3 weeks after your session, where you’ll view your images and choose your favorites.
When will i get to see my senior photos?
Yes! I offer flexible options so you can spread out your order in a way that feels comfortable.
